Julie and Jamie Briggs founded Jamie Briggs Removals and Storage ltd. In February 200 after
identifying an opportunity in the market to provide a removals company with strong principals,
flexibility and an emphasis on first class service.
It has now evolved into a leading supplier of national and international removal and storage
solutions for commercial, institutional, retail and domestic clients and continues to expand.
Their finest move to date has been the commercial removal of over 7.5million books from The
Bodleian library, Oxford, to its new temperature controlled facility in Swindon over. Julie, who has
juggled teaching, Directorship, volunteering and family life over the past 23 years is passionate
about the continual professional development of her staff. She is proud to have achieved and
maintained 3 British Quality Standards (so far!) and has invested in the stringent membership
requirements of both the British Association of Removals and the Commercial Moving Group. She
believes in supporting other local businesses and has built up strong relationships with many
Banbury businesses in both supplier and customer capacities. She has been particularly active within
Banbury ladies networking groups having sponsored Banbury Business Woman of the Year for the
past 4 years.
When Julie is not working she volunteers for BYHP, enjoys singing in Rock Choir, reading, walking,
theatre and at weekends can usually be found on the touch line of Banbury rugby club or Banbury
cricket club watching her two sons, Jack and Will, participate in two of her favourite sports.
