Nancy Buckley

Nancy Buckley is Director of Career Pathways at Activate Learning based at Banbury & Bicester College.

Passionate about bringing local businesses and education together, she joined the Banbury Chamber in 2019 to help integrate the college curriculum, work placement and apprenticeships with employer-led opportunities in Banbury. Working with the A Better Connected Banbury Networking Group she has held successful events for local businesses to explain the changes arriving with the new T-Level qualification.

Prior to working in education, Nancy ran her own sales consultancy business targeting UK and European libraries with e-publications from international learned societies. Her career began back in 1998 at Blackwell Publishing where she ran the sales team as International Sales Director as well as being committee member and treasurer for the United Kingdom Serials Group for 6 years.

In her spare time Nancy is a mum of two, and loves reading, shopping, going on holiday and cooking vegetarian food.
