Networking for Women in Banbury

In May 2018 Banbury Chamber of Commerce and Banbury Broomsticks announced a partnership to offer even greater services to our members.

Banbury Broomsticks is the fun way to network with fellow business women in Banbury & the surrounding areas.

Broomsticks was born out of the need for a less formal but still efficient way of networking. Although we still use traditional stand up and tell everyone about yourself sessions and guest speakers from firms and service providers from around the Country it’s a little less formal and we do love to have a laugh.

What you need to know:

When:

We meet on the first Wednesday of each month from 12:00 and finish at 14:30. The room is available from 10.30 to network prior to the meeting.

Where:

Banbury Cricket Club Ground | White Post Road | Bodicote OX15 4BN 

Meeting Structure:

• 12 :00 – 12:30 Networking –Meet our invitees and catch up with a few familiar faces.
• 12:30 Introductions – Your opportunity to tell us what you do in 60 seconds and give us a call to action.
• 13:00 Lunch
• 13:20 Our Invited Guest Speaker – We have a different guest speaker each month to tell us all about how to improve your business skills or share their experiences with us.
• 13:50 Coffee & Round Up – A chance to share your experiences of services of those in the room and organise meetings with other ladies that you would like to connect with.

Costs:

Members of Banbury Chamber of Commerce pay just £16+ Booking Fees per month.

Other benefits:

• We run two socials a year, in December the Broomsticks (Fizz sticks) event takes place then in July where all Banbury Chamber of commerce members Broomsticks come together.
• We also operate a ‘sector lockout’ that ensures a great variety of opportunity to our regular attendees and a great chance to those committed to our group to be our voice for your sector.
