A ‘defect’ for action against the contractor 33kV has been raised to put right a poor reinstatement of trench work. By asking the public utility to liaise directly with our subcontractor, means that 33kV are fully responsible for any construction activities on the road going forward to resolve, and that there is no further cost to the tax payer.
Due to the weight of HGVs into the estate, the surface has already shown signs of failure. There will be now a need for 33kV to now manage this site and return visits.
