Have you got your ticket yet for the BWIB Annual Conference and Awards 2019 on 24 September at Wroxton House Hotel?
This year it is going to be amazing, not only is there a fantastic line up of finalists to recognise and celebrate their achievements but also Cerys Nelmes, a stand-up comedian will host the event, on top of two very inspiring speakers who will take the floor in the morning:
Sarah Outen is an adventurer by land and sea, bestselling author and motivational speaker. Keen to encourage people outside and enable young people to access adventure, she is a proud ambassador and patron of a number of charities.
In November 2015 Sarah completed her most recent major expedition: London2London:Via the World, an attempt to row, cycle and kayak 25000 miles around the Northern Hemisphere. The journey took 4.5 years and was all the richer for not turning out exactly as planned.
With over 19 years’ experience, Lisa Phillips is a leading confidence, resilience and wellbeing facilitator, coach and speaker. Lisa founded ‘Amazing Coaching’ in 2000 while living in Sydney, Australia.
A former Internal Auditor working across 15 countries for a UK multinational company, Lisa has also held Management roles in Training, Staff Engagement and Communication in the UK, Singapore and Australia.
Now residing in the UK, Lisa is the author of ‘The Confidence Coach’ book and her work is regularly featured on TV, Radio and a wide range of business and lifestyle magazines.
Cerys Nelmes is a West Country Stand Up Comedian, born and bred in the centre of the Cotswolds! She mced the comedy at Glastonbury Festival in June! She is also showcasing her new show ’80s Game Show Mash-Up’ at Edinburgh Festival Fringe in August. Cerys can also be seen popping up on Casualty as a regular paramedic and on the new Renault Ad with Thierry Henry!*
Cerys has had a very colourful and eventful life which she loves talking about to make people laugh. She performs her comedy in a story telling style with a West Country charm that is easy to warm to.
