If you think only teachers run schools, think again! The six schools in the Warriner Multi Academy Trust wouldn’t be as successful as they are without the hard work of school governors and trustees. Could you become a trustee or a governor and make a difference to the lives of the children in our care?
Governors are vital to the quality of children’s education in a school. They support the Head Teacher but also hold them to account for the way they run the school. They monitor children’s progress and challenge the quality of education.
We currently have 5 primary schools and 1 secondary school in the Trust;
- Bishop Carpenter CoE Primary School in North Newington,
- Bishop Loveday CoE Primary School in Bodicote,
- Farthinghoe Primary School
- Hornton Primary School
- Sibford Gower Endowed Primary School
- The Warriner School in Bloxham (secondary)
If you live in one of those villages or further afield, if you have experience or not, if you are committed to becoming involved, we would be very interested to hear from you. We have both Church and non Church schools in our Multi Academy Trust and are looking for individuals who would like to work in either type of setting to support their ethos.
Trustees of the Warriner Multi Academy Trust have overall responsibility for the work of the Trust across all its schools.
We especially need individuals with experience in any of the following;
- Law
- Organisational expansion
- Business Development
- HR policy and process
- Marketing/media/PR
- Curriculum and assessment development
