A team of 25 Ellacotts staff and Partners have completed a sponsored 50-mile Bikeathon to raise money for their Charity of the Year, Make-A-Wish.
The journey between Ellacotts Banbury and Kettering offices, took in large parts of the Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire countryside. Setting off early on the morning of Sunday 14th May, the team bravely battled hills, rain and rough terrain as well as canal towpaths before being welcomed at our Kettering office by proud friends and family.
With an ambitious target of £6,000, the Bikeathon was the firm’s flagship fundraising event of the year. In recent months, the team have also been busy taking part in bake offs, Christmas jumper days and dress down Fridays in order to raise money for this fantastic cause.
The Bikeathon also marks one year since the opening of Ellacotts Kettering office. Based just off Junction 9 of the A14, the new office has allowed the firm to improve levels of service to their clients and grow and develop the business.
