Ellacotts Take on Rough Runner

Local independent Chartered Accountants and Business Advisers, Ellacotts, are gearing up for a mighty effort to support their Charities of the Year, Katharine House Hospice and Cransley Hospice.

On Saturday 19th May, a team of over 40 members of the firm are taking part in the 15km Rough Runner at The Great Tew Estate. The challenge combines distance running with a variety of unique obstacles along the way, each inspired by game shows such as Total Wipeout, Takeshi’s Castle, Gladiators, and Ninja Warrior.

Ellacott’s staff are expecting to face punching walls, giant pigeon battles, sweeper arms, big balls and yes, The Travelator – and they’re currently praying to the weather gods.

It’s a stiff challenge, but the cause is a worthy one. Both Katharine House Hospice and Cransley Hospice provide specialist palliative care for patients with life limiting conditions, enabling them to approach the end of life with dignity, free from pain and distressing symptoms.

If you would like to cheer Ellacott’s brave effort and offer your support to the Katharine House Hospice and Cransley Hospice, please use this link to visit Ellacott’s fundraising page!
