Join us for a new networking partnership
Banbury Chamber of Commerce (BCOC), in partnership with Activate Learning (Banbury &
Bicester College) invites you to attend a brand new series of networking events.
Following the BCOC live event last November, where we committed to developing closer
working relationships with Banbury businesses, education establishments and charitable
foundations in and around the Banbury area, we are delighted to bring you…
“A Better-Connected Banbury – Bringing business, education and
charity together.”
The first event will take place from 12 noon to 2 pm on Tuesday 19th March 2019 at Banbury
& Bicester College, Banbury Campus, Broughton Road, Banbury, Oxfordshire OX16 9QA.
Kicking off with an opportunity for some great networking and refreshments, this will be
followed by an informal Q&A session, hosted by Activate Learning. Designed to help
demystify apprenticeships, it will include an overview of the process and Activate
Apprenticeship’s role in this. In addition, you will discover:
- How you can employ an apprentice?
- What are the benefits for you as an employer?
- Apprenticeship levy – find out whether you would need to pay?
- T Levels – how they can work for your business?
So if you want all of your apprenticeship questions answered and much more, then please
join us. After the Q&A, we will relocate to Banbury College’s Cherwell Restaurant to enjoy a
two-course lunch with food cooked and served by catering students.
Price is only £10 per person (+ Eventbrite fee) and includes:
- Open networking
- Informative Q&A session
- Two course lunch
- Unlimited tea and coffee
- Free car parking
It is hoped that there will be three of these meetings a year. Dates for the next two are June
26th and November (date TBC) Please block them out in your diary, as we don’t want you
