79% of CEO’s say a lack of key skills is threatening the future growth of their organisation. At our next ‘how to’ event, we will be sharing how to up-skill your business, using new government levelling-up initiatives and training offers.
Rebecca Iley the head of Project Operations at Activate Learning says, “There are a myriad of opportunities for employers to up-skill their work force – but navigating the various projects can be a bit of a minefield.” Rebecca, via a conversation with Chamber Board Member Nancy Buckley, will talk us through schemes such as Kick Start, Skills Support for the Workforce and the Level-Up courses available for adults without L3 qualifications.
This will be a super helpful session to help our Chamber members visualise what is available to them, their employees and their businesses. There will be opportunity to ask questions of Rebecca and ensure you fully understand the schemes available.
This event follows on from our very popular conversation with Chris Hipkiss, how to repurpose a town centre.
