HS2 shares information on stations contractors and bidding processes through ‘Meet the Contractor’ 2021 videos
HS2 invited businesses to ‘Meet the Contractor’ throughout November. Their Station themed sessions took place between 15th and 17th November this year and were open to all organisations to book their free of charge place via their website. Over 1,000 individuals registered to attend these webinars which shared information about the project and different packages of work that were available both now and in the future.
As well as information about accessing the supply chain, attendees were given the chance to attend 1-2-1 meetings with their contractors to find out more about the opportunities on the project to enable them to bid for future work.
The sessions included guests from Tier 1 contractors (such as BBVS and Mace Dragados), presentations from their Tier 2 subcontractors, including Barhale, Clipfine, J Coffey and Expanded; and HS2 Ltd and third-party bodies. These webinars gave hints and tips on how to find work on the project, shared top tips on winning bids and had a closer look at when relevant opportunities would be available throughout the lifespan of construction.
The sessions also gave attendees information on where they can find out more about the project, such as the Supplier Guide. The High Speed Two (HS2) supplier guide highlights what is important to HS2 Ltd and what is required from companies hoping to join the supply chain. To find out more, head to their Supply Chain website here, which has further guidance, contract information and case study videos of suppliers who have secured work on HS2.
All of the Videos from HS2’s Station’s contract opportunities are now available through YouTube via this link.
