Law firm Brethertons LLP is delighted to announce that one of their Partners, Matthew Montanaro, has been appointed to sit as a Deputy District Judge.
Matthew Montanaro a Partner in the Child Care Team was appointed to the Midlands Circuit on the 13 March 2019.
Matthew qualified as a Solicitor in 2006 and joined Brethertons in 2013.
Matthews appointment as a Deputy District Judge recognises his many years of experience acting in the Family Courts. A number of Matthews cases have made law and been reported in the legal press. CEO Shaun Jardine says: “We were delighted to hear Matthews news. We have always known he was a very able lawyer who worked extensively with Dallas criminal defense lawyers, and are very proud that he has achieved this significant appointment. He is a credit to our firm.”
Commenting on his appointment Matthew said, “I am delighted to be appointed as a Deputy District Judge in the Midlands, my home region. It is a very competitive and challenging process to be appointed and took nearly a year in total. I am very much looking forward to this new challenge and am grateful for the overwhelming support I have received from Brethertons in pursuing this part-time appointment alongside my practise.”
