The board of Banbury United Football Club are delighted to announce a two-year sponsorship deal with Modex until the end of the 2021 season. The deal is worth a four-figure sum to the club over the next two seasons.
Modex, an International Exhibitions and Events Company, moved their headquarters to the Thorpe Industrial Estate in Banbury in January 2019 as part of their expansion plans. Modex have more than 20 years’ experience working in the international exhibitions and events arenas. United’s Commercial Director Mark Allitt was delighted to get Modex signed up and commented “I’m extremely pleased to have attracted Modex to become a sponsor of Banbury United. It’s always important to attract fresh sponsors and especially new companies moving into Banbury. The dugouts are one of the last areas of the ground we wanted to get sponsored and I’m delighted Martin and his team at Modex have agreed to sponsor us.”
Modex Director Martin Coomber also commented on the deal and said” We’re delighted to be sponsoring Banbury United for the next two years. Sponsoring the dugouts seemed a really good idea for us and a fun way in which we could help the club. With us expanding and moving into Banbury, it’s great timing for us to be getting involved with something unique like a supporter owned club. We look forward to seeing the club progress over the next couple of seasons.”
