Sewing Courses 2018 – Sharon Priscilla
We have simplified our courses, making it easier for you to book onto as many courses as you wish in bite size pieces.
Full supervision and all tools are provided.
Materials, fabrics and leathers can either be purchased on the day (card or cash accepted) or you can bring your own.
All of our courses are run in parallel, so you may be making something different to other students on the day.

Times:
We will be running 2 hours slots from 9am until 9pm on each date listed below.
Sessions will run as followed:
9am – 11am
11.30am- 1.30pm
2pm – 4pm
4.30pm -6.30pm
7pm – 9pm

Wednesday’s 12th, 19th, 26th
Saturday’s 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th
Prices:
2 hours – £22.50 ( if booked before 31st July – 19.12)
4 hours – £42.00 ( if booked before 31st July – 35.70)
6 hours – £60.00 ( if booked before 31st July – 51.00)
8 hours – £78.00 ( if booked before 31st July – 66.30)
Each 2 hours slot will run consecutively and where necessary allowing you time to move from one project to another
Get to Know your Sewing Machine; (allow 2 hours)
For anyone that would like to be more confident on a sewing machine.
We will start with the basics and send you home with a much better understanding of a sewing machine. If you would like to bring your own then please do.
Alterations Workshop ( allow 2 hours)
Learn how to alter your own clothes. Bring along your items that need altering and learn how to take up a hem or resize them.
Bring along you own Project: (allow 2 hours+)
Bring along your own project for help, assistance and advice on how to complete.
Home Furnishings: (allow 2 hours)
A great first project for getting to grips with a machine.
No sewing experience is needed, you will learn some sewing machine basics and the knowledge to re- create time and time again.

Make up Bags or Wash Bags (allow 2 hours
you will get to make one of the six designs of our make up or wash bags.
No sewing experience is needed, you will learn some sewing machine basics, how to insert a zip.

Kitting out the Kids (allow 2 – 4 hours
A chance for you to create something for your little ones, all students will choose between a skirt, dress or shirt.
You will learn how to create from scratch using a pattern, learn how to assemble together.
Basic sewing skills required

Bodycon skirt, Circular Skirt or Circular Top ( allow 2- 4 hours)
Make any easy to wear circle skirt or circle top to add to your wardrobe.
You will learn the mathematics to create a custom fit circle skirt or top, for you to re-create again.
Basic sewing skills are needed
(materials not included, approximate costs from £10 – £25)
Accessorise Me ( allow 2 hours)
A course teaching you how to make and range earrings, bracelets, necklaces, key rings, hair accessories and more.
No sewing experience is needed go home with your own handmade products.
(Materials included for 1 item, additional materials can be purchased on the day, from £5+)
A Touch of Millinery (allow 2 hours)
Whether you are going to the races, attending a wedding or a party you can come and create your very own hair piece to be worn on the day.
It’s so much fun twisting and shaping millinery supplies into different styles! No sewing experience is needed go home with your own handmade product

Beginners Leather ( allow 2 hours)
Learn the basics of working with leather, whether you would like to make a coin purse, make up bag or a keyring the choice is yours.
No sewing experience is needed and you will learn some sewing machine basics and go home with you own handmade product.

Leather Bags (allow 6 hours)
You will get to choose either and tote bag or and tassel bag to make on the day.
You will learn how to construct your chosen bag from start to finish and go home with the finished product.

Evening Bags (allow 4 hours
You will get to choose one of the three styles of evening bags to make on the day.
Asymmetrical Bag, Framed Clutch Bag or a Clutch bag
You will learn how to construct your chosen bag from start to finish and go home with the finished product.

Make your own sneakers
(Sneaker Kit)
Learn to design, make and wear your own sneakers in 1 day.
Suitable for beginners, so no sewing experience necessary.
Here is what’s included….
1. Choose from super high top, high tops, low tops or super low tops.
2. Design your own sneaker.
3. Choose from fabric, leather or canvas.
4. Prepare your sole.
5. Cut your sneaker top.
6. Add sneaker to sole.
7. Finish.
8. Wear them home.
This is a full day course running from 10-4pm
