The Board of Banbury United Football club is extremely pleased to announce that Walraven have reaffirmed their commitment to the club by signing a two-year away kit extension through to the end of the 2000/21 season. The deal is worth a five-figure sum to the Puritans in that period.
Commenting on the deal, United’s Commercial Director Mark Allitt said “I’m delighted that Walraven have signed with us for another two years. They’ve been a fantastic sponsor to the club over the past three seasons and I’m so pleased they’ve decided to show us this further commitment until the end of the 2020/21 season. It gives us great confidence to plan ahead, knowing we have the full backing of our key sponsors.”
Walraven will also continue to have their branding on the back of United’s home shirt, plus have pitch side advertising and programme coverage. Walraven’s UK Marketing Manager Sally Williams was also delighted with the two year extension and said “We are more than happy to extend our sponsorship of the Banbury United away shirt for the next two seasons. As a local business we want to support the local community and the club really do make a positive contribution to the town of Banbury. It is also clear that the supporter owned structure continues to work and the club continues to make great progress.”
Banbury United Chairman Phil Lines was equally pleased to agree the away shirt sponsorship package and said “It’s great news that Walraven want to continue supporting Banbury United. We’ve formed a great relationship and I look forward to working closely with them again over the next two seasons.”
