The board of Banbury United FC are delighted to announce that West Cornwall Pasty Co are increasing their sponsorship commitment to the club by becoming a secondary sponsor for the 2017-18 season. West Cornwall Pasty Co, so well known for their delicious pasties, have a shop in Banbury Town Centre and fans will be delighted to know that these pasties will be on sale at all the club’s home games next season.
West Cornwall Pasty Co have been a pitch side sponsor since the club became supporter owned in 2015, but after further discussions will now be increasing their sponsorship to a four-figure sum next season. United’s Commercial Assistant Warren Bartlett was delighted with the deal and said “We’ve developed a good relationship between the club and West Cornwall Pasty Co over the past couple of seasons and it has manifested into this exciting sponsorship package. They have an outlet in the heart of our community in the town centre and we look forward to our relationship developing further as we sell West Cornwall Pasty Co products at the Banbury Plant Hire Community Stadium”
Also commenting on the recent news, West Cornwall Pasty Co’s Managing Director Tony Keating said “West Cornwall has been delighted to support Banbury United the past couple of seasons, but we felt it was the time to really try and help the club to push forward more. The progress made on and off the pitch is very pleasing and we want to help build on that success. It’s important to support Community projects and the concept of fan ownership is very attractive.”
Puritans Commercial Director Mark Allitt was also quick to praise the deal and added “I’m delighted that West Cornwall Pasty Co have decided to increase their support to us and I thank Tony and his team for backing us in this way.
